What kinds of custom magnets can I order?
360 Print Studio prints three kinds: thin promotional magnets for refrigerators and filing cabinets (business-card size up to 5.5×8.5), die-cut magnets cut to any shape, and heavy 30-mil vehicle magnets for car and truck doors. All print in full colour on the face and are weather-resistant.
Common questions
What thickness magnet do I need for a car?
30 mil. It is thick enough to stay flat against a vehicle door at highway speed and follow a slightly curved panel without the edges lifting. Thinner magnets are for indoor surfaces only.
How thick are promotional fridge magnets?
Our standard promo magnets are printed on 14PT magnetic stock — sturdy enough to hold a couple of sheets of paper on a fridge for years, thin enough to mail flat alongside a postcard or letter.
Can magnets be cut to a custom shape?
Yes. Die-cut magnets are available as a rectangle, square, circle, oval, or a fully custom shape following your artwork outline, in sizes up to 6×8.
Are car magnets safe for vehicle paint?
On clean, waxed, undamaged factory paint, yes. Remove them about once a week to wipe both the magnet back and the panel so dirt and moisture are not trapped underneath, and never place them over body filler or a vinyl wrap.
Are magnets printed on both sides?
No — magnets print in full colour on the face only; the back is the magnetic surface.
